The Not-So-Fine Print
General Information
- Smoking
Is Not Permitted In Any Of Our Cottages -
There is a MINIMUM $250 Damage Charge if you ignore this
policy
- All Cottage & Campsite Rates Are
Subject To 9% NH Tax
- Pets
Are NOT Permitted Anywhere On The Premises
- NOT your pet, your
friend's pet, in the car, crate or anywhere
- Minimum Stays May Apply During Certain
Periods
- Cabin Check In - 3 pm - 8 pm * * * Check
Out - BEFORE 10 am. Early check-in, Late check-out may be available
for an additional charge. If you are in your cottage after 10
am on check-out day you will be charged an additonal
fee.
- Cottage rentals are payable in advance
upon arrival for the total of nights reserved. Personal/Company
checks are not accepted at check-in.
Cash customers will be required to provide a $250
Security Deposit; sorry, but there are no exceptions to this
policy.
- Late Cottage Check Ins May
Be Available With Prior Arrangement
- Visitors are welcome from 9 am until
9 pm & must register with the office. We reserve the right to limit
the number of visitors per cabin/site. No Overnight Visitors. Adults
- $5.00 ........... Children - $2.00
Kitchen/kitchenettes
Folks, let me start off by saying that
I KNOW this one sounds weird but .... In the past we have had numerous
complaints and even lost reservations due to the lingering aroma/odor/scent
(depending on your like/dislike) of curry/masala. Our cottages
are small and the the aroma from cooking curry permeates every inch
of them. For those of you who use Curry Powder/Masala, we are
not telling you anything you do not already know.
Just as we had to prohibit the burning
of candles and incense in our cottages (not everyone likes Jasmine,
Grapefruit, or whatever YOUR favorite scent might be) we now must prohibit
the use of Curry. Cooking with Curry/masala in any cottage will be considered
DAMAGE just as Smoking or the Burning of Incense or Candles. All Damage
Policies & Charges apply.

with this admittedly weird (but necessary) policy.
Deposits
- Reservations made within 21 days of
arrival require payment in full at the time of reservation.
- Holiday Period* Reservations require
payment in full at the time of the reservation.
- Reservations made 22 days or more prior
to arrival require a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the stay.
- Deposits may be paid with a personal
check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard. Checks/Money Orders must be
received within 7 days of making your reservation. Checks/Money Orders
must be received 21 days prior to arrival.
- Deposits are applied to the end of your
stay, no refunds for early departures.
Cancellation
Policy - CREDIT TOWARDS FUTURE STAY ONLY
- NO REFUNDS
We view a reservation as a two-way commitment.
We agree to hold (not rent) a specific
cottage/site for you for a specific date(s). You agree to provide us with
a valid credit card, money order or check to use as a deposit on that
reservation.
Please do not make a reservation if you
are in any way uncertain of your commitment to stay in one of our cottages/sites
for a specific date.
If you do make a reservation and are then
forced to cancel it, the following policies will be STRICTLY followed:
- Cancellations at least 22
days prior to arrival will receive a 100% credit of the deposit
towards another stay during the same calendar year.
- Cancellations at least 15
days prior to arrival will receive a 50% credit of the deposit
towards another stay during the same calendar year.
- Cancellations made 14
days or less prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit.
- Holiday Period* Cancellations/Date
Changes - No
Refunds or Credits.
- Non-Holiday DATE
CHANGES are
considered cancellations and the above charges/policies may
apply. A minimum $15 charge will apply.
*Holiday Periods - Memorial Day Weekend,
July 3 - 5, Labor Day Weekend, Fryeburg Fair Week, Columbus Day Weekend,
Thanksgiving, Christmas - New Years Week, Martin Luther King Weekend,
Presidents Weekend, February Vacation Weeks.
We don't
charge extra for sunshine, and we can't give refunds due to bad weather.
