For those of you who want to really take it easy, the SCENIC DRIVES along BEAR NOTCH RD. & "THE KANC" are just a hop & a skip away. The Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) was the first highway of the National Scenic Byway through The White Mountains. The views from both Bear Notch Road & The Kanc are beyond compare.

The Mountains themselves are absolutely magnificent. Enormous pines & hemlocks, waterfalls, crystal clear streams, brooks & rivers along with bountiful wildlife are just a few of the joys you'll discover here. CANOEING, KAYAKING & RIVER TUBING round out the Summer activities. ALPINE SKIING, ICE CLIMBING & SNOW MOBILING round out the Winter fun. In the Fall, the Foliage is amazing & world renowned.
